HAZY PALE ALE

ABV: 4.6% | IBU: 30.1

This beer was introduced as a successor to the very first beer we brewed here at KBC. Our Community NEIPA was a 7% ABV beast full of bold hop flavour. For the Hazy Pale Ale, we wanted the same big hit of juicy hops at a more sustainable strength and this has become our flagship beer for hop lovers! We went heavy on the Citra with this one to create an aromatic and flavourful pale ale. A perfect crushable beer all year round!

TWO FIVE

OH COMMON

ABV: 5.4% | IBU: 39.3

This is one of our favourite beer styles at KBC. California Commons are technically lagers but they are fermented at higher temperatures and this gives them more fruity and complex flavours. Our version is a strikingly orange-coloured with a clean and crisp smoothness which makes it suitable for lager and ale fans alike!

WILLIE'S

ABV: 5.0% | IBU: 15.3

WHEAT

Willie’s Wheat is our take on a classic hefeweizen, a traditional German style of unfiltered wheat beer. We love how fresh and light this beer is, whilst having a complex flavour profile with notes of banana and clove. The haze that you will see in your glass is actually small amounts of suspended yeast which give this beer its distinctive flavour.

PETE'S STOUT

ABV: 4.2% | IBU: 25.1

This beer is named in honour of the big friendly biker dude, Pete, who also happens to be one of our owners. He used the full weight of his stake in our company for this Oatmeal Stout. This is a well-rounded oatmeal stout that is as smooth it gets. It hits all the notes that you would expect: caramel, chocolate and coffee. Try it in house on nitro for the ultimate smooth pint!

trader's cove ipa

ABV: 6.0% | IBU: 66

This is our West Coast style IPA for the hop lovers out there. This means we start with a full, malt-heavy base beer for a good strong ABV and then liberally add hops throughout the brewing process. Our focus is on classic West-Coast style hops such as Cascade and Amarillo that we source from the fantastic producers that we have here in BC. The finished beer is well balanced with a pleasant aroma and decent hop bite!

OLD MAN KOLSCH

ABV: 4.6% | IBU: 21.6

At KBC, we pride ourselves on our inclusivity and being welcoming to everybody that steps through our doors. We wanted our beer range to reflect this fact and the Old Man Kolsch is our beer for those who don’t want the latest craziest flavours and combinations of ingredients. The kind of people that just want to sit and enjoy a nice beer. This is a no nonsense, accessible, easy-drinking beer that strikes an even balance between maltiness and hoppiness. Crisp, clean and refreshing.

PONYBOY STAY GOLDEN LAGER

ABV: 5.0% | IBU: 18

For this brew, our goal was to create a light, easy-going lager for everyone to enjoy and it has become one of our most popular offerings!

This is a Helles style lager (A German classic!) that relies on Pilsner malt and traditional German hops and is designed with maximum drinkability in mind. Golden, balanced and delicious!
